What should I do if something smells like burning?
If it is safe to do so, switch off power at the main switch and keep away from the affected area. If there is smoke or visible flame, leave the building and contact your local emergency services first. Then send us the details so we can arrange an inspection.
How are quotes worked out?
Small repairs are usually quoted after a quick on-site diagnosis. Larger projects such as rewires or panel upgrades get a written, itemised quote after a walk-through. Nothing extra goes ahead without your approval.
Do I need to prepare anything before the visit?
Clear access to your switchboard and the areas we will work in. A list of the symptoms you have noticed, and when they happen, helps us find faults faster.
Can you work on older homes?
Yes. Older wiring is one of our most common jobs. We will tell you honestly what can stay, what should be upgraded and what can wait.
Do you take on small commercial jobs?
We regularly help studios, shops and offices with lighting, new circuits, fault finding and safety checks, and can schedule work outside trading hours.
